Postcards from Sintra

Spent half a day in Sintra and Cabo da roca, the western most point on continental Europe.

We had an hour long cheese, sausage and wine tasting.

Then off  to the magnificent Quinta de Regaliera with a facade of towers and turrets, carvings of mythical creatures and a spooky initiation well.

Take a closer look at the rabbit and eagle, notice anything? 

And a stop at Cascais beach to watch the seductive dance of the sunset.

It was magic!
